FEDERATION HOUSE, Hope St, Liverpool L1 9BQ

The Shandon Bells is a new pub with an old soul. It’s an homage to the pubs and people of Cork, as well as the gnarly beauty of 1960s and 1970s flat roof boozers that once abounded across the British Isles and Ireland.

The Shandon Bells is a nod to everything we love about Cork’s best pubs and she takes her name from the famous tower and bells of St Anne’s Church in the heart of the city. The eight bells were cast in 1750 and first rang out in 1752. The Bells of Shandon have a special place in Cork’s heritage and have soundtracked Ireland’s second city for decades.

Offering perfect pints, Taytos, toasties and Irish Trad music, we’ve carved out a tiny corner of Cork on Hope Street.
